Ridgeview Medical Center Coordinator Room Service in Chaska, Minnesota

Purpose of Job This position is responsible for coordinating all room service activities related to patient food services. Job Functions Manages CBORD Food Service Suite and Room Service Suite which includes but is not limited to Patient Tray Tickets, Daily Nourishment Reports, Tally Reports, and Patient Notes. Answers the phone to take patient orders while adhering to the Physician ordered diet. Ability to use the computer to enter patient menu selections into the CBORD computer software system. Daily meal preparation of salads and desserts Preparation of cold ala carte menu items Supervises the tray line assembly of patient meal trays Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work area Provides courteous and professional customer services to internal and external customers Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education/Work Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Previous food service experience Comfortable with frequent phone and computer use CBORD experience but willing to train Dietetic Technician or basic diet knowledge Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to multi-task and work independently and in a team Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions. Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above.
