Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the fabrication department supporting various structural projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $26- $29 per hour

What's the Job?

• Fabricate and weld filtration equipment, pipe, and various structural equipment from blueprints and work orders.

• Utilize independent judgment and initiative to complete projects safely and on time.

• Understand and apply AWS welding symbols and codes in daily tasks.

• Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work area while adhering to safety rules and quality procedures.

• Lead by example and support the department manager in promoting company policies and safety standards.

What's Needed?

• Two years of welding experience, with proven knowledge of GMAW and FCAW processes.

• Successful completion of AWS-1G unlimited thickness certification or ASTM Section 9 certification.

• Operating knowledge of preheat cutting torch, stud welder, and overhead crane.

• Strong sense of urgency and initiative to resolve fabrication problems effectively.

• Ability to work well in a team environment and train others on specific procedures.
