The Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) Program Manager will lead and manage the team responsible for the production of plan documents and execution of governance and controls for Truist’s recovery and resolution plans. The RRP Program Manager will ensure the RRP governance process aligns with Truist’s enterprise governance framework, and will manage the team responsible for the plans’ production schedules and deliverables.

Lead and manage the team responsible for the production of plan documents and execution of governance and controls for Truist’s recovery and resolution plans.
Manage the structure and development of Truist’s recovery and resolution plans, and ensures all regulatory requirements and associated guidance are fully reflected in the recovery and resolution plans; engage with cross-functional teammates to ensure material changes in the company structure, risk profile, scope or business mix are reflected in the Company’s recovery and resolution plans
Lead efforts to research, develop and document interconnections between business units, affiliates, and legal entities
Lead the development and maintenance of the RRP interconnections reporting tool, including identification and integration of data sources, comprehensive mapping and alignment of data elements, and stakeholder review and validation process; proactively engages with technology and data office teammates to ensure accurate and timely delivery of data in a controlled fashion
Lead the identification and tracking / remediation efforts of any self-identified or regulator-identified impediments to potential resolution / recovery strategies; engage with liaisons and stakeholders to develop robust remediation plans and ensure timely execution of such plans
Manage the RRP governance process, including alignment of the RRP governance structure (e.g., working groups / committees) within the broader Truist governance framework; develop and maintain policies, procedures and other governance materials in line with internal standards and requirements
Lead efforts in maintaining the plan and the process for updating the plan periodically and as required by regulation based upon material changes in the company structure, risk profile, scope or business mix
Manage the plan production process, setting the production schedule and deliverables timeline with data providers, tracking progress towards established timelines, and working to mitigate risk to Plan production.
Become knowledgeable of Plan content requirements spanning multiple specialized functional processes and draft plan documentation and narrative to meet rule requirements.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training
Minimum of fifteen years of experience in banking and financial services
Minimum of 5 years of direct Resolution Planning experience, including demonstrated understanding of key recovery and resolution planning concepts and ability to incorporate organizational changes into the recovery and resolution planning framework
Demonstrated understanding of banking operations and strategy, including ability to navigate and understand matrix-based organizations and other shared service arrangements within a company / function
Proven understanding of, and ability to navigate, complex data sourcing and aggregation processes; ability to engage with data management teams to ensure well-controlled and accurate data is provided and incorporated into recovery and resolution plans
Demonstrated experience using analytical and data aggregation tools (e.g., Visual Basic, Python, Wdesk) to perform complex data aggregation, analysis, and reporting
Ability to think strategically and understand cross-functional impacts of actions and decisions
Strong analytical skills, including process / control design and data quality best practices
Proven ability to effectively manage complex projects and initiatives, including multiple business partners across different areas as well as large / complex data sets; demonstrated organization skills
Excellent communication skills, including experience authoring regulatory submissions and responses, and ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences including Senior/Executive Leadership, line of business associates, peers, regulators, and consultants
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in business and / or advanced industry accreditation (e.g., CPA, CFA)
Three or more years of direct recovery and resolution planning experience at a Category I, II, or III institution
Successful completion of leadership development, project management, or process improvement program and demonstrated ability to successfully lead large-scale cross-functional initiatives
Proven ability to develop clear, concise presentations intended for broad audiences
Strong interpersonal skills and experience motivating and leading cross-functional teams and project stakeholders to achieve a shared purpose
