Citigroup Non-Traded Market Risk Data Transformation - SVP in Charlotte, North Carolina
The Non-Traded Market Risk (NTMR) Data Transformation team within the Treasury organization works closely with stakeholders to design, implement and measure solutions for the data operating model. The team collaborates across NTMR Operations and Management, Treasury Transformation, Finance Chief Data Office, Technology, 2nd and 3rd Line in order to achieve our objectives.
The Fin Solutions Sr. Lead Analyst will work with subject matter experts to develop the framework for data remediation and data governance. Excellent communication, organization and project managing skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince colleagues in other disciplines. The role will be accountable for designing and gaining senior approval on NTMR Use Case scope, oversee report decomposition to ensure proper identification of Critical Data Elements for in scope reports, developing and gathering management support for metrics and measurables for use case success as well as ensuring data concerns and demands associated with the prioritized reports are strategically remediated.
Responsibilities:
Define and drive execution efforts for the NTMR Data Use Case to on-time completion
Engage with various stakeholders across Treasury and Citi to ensure project objectives and all required governance and oversight requirements are met
Execute against multiple contending priorities simultaneously
Proactively manage potential challenges to avoid developing into risks or issues
Produce and communicate status reports for management and regulatory reviews
Engage with Finance COO and other internal stakeholders with regards to NTMR Data Transformation efforts and their impact to other regulatory deliverables
Engage with Internal Audit and Risk partners on scope, design and execution of NTMR data transformation efforts
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry highly preferred
Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function
Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others
Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
Demonstrates consistent track record of having worked as a Program or Project Manager, or working on large, strategic cross-functional projects
Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Working knowledge of data management, data governance concepts and Citi’s Data Operating Model
Knowledge of Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall Methodologies for Change Management
In depth knowledge of banking products / systems highly preferred
NTMR experience/knowledge preferred, but not required
Education:
Bachelors degree required
