Acosta Group HVAC Manufacturer Sales Manager - Google Nest in Charlotte, North Carolina

DESCRIPTION

Mosaic is currently looking for an HVAC Manufacturer Sales Manager (MSM) to join our innovative, growing team. The MSM will represent Google Nest’s line of thermostats and smart home products. You will focus on increasing sales of Google Nest products by building relationships, creating awareness, and conducting training with new and existing distributors and contractors (key focus in HVAC and electrical). Success will be measured on sell-in and sell-out at distributors, lead generation of contractors and wholesale opportunities, training events conducted, and satisfaction scores.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive revenue by working with wholesaler accounts and contractors within the designated territory

  • Educate contractors and wholesalers on how becoming a Google Nest Pro, installing Google Nest thermostats, and embracing the future of smart home can help grow business

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders with impactful sales visits, facilitated trainings and other valuable touch points

  • Seek opportunities to maximize Google Nest position in the market by cold calling and building relationships with potential new partners – both HVAC and electrical contractorsand wholesalers

  • Develop business plans to drive growth with wholesalers, by working with marketing, purchasing, finance, and buyers

  • Provide actionable insights and competitive intelligence that contributes to the sell-through forecast process by developing an intimate understanding of business

  • Effectively collaborate with Google, Master Distributors, and others to develop and maintain sales leads and current client base.

  • Drive Google-funded promotion awareness and ensuring participation and compliance

  • Partner with Google Pro training to develop a sales/product training plan and coordinate in-person and virtual training for both contractors and distributors

  • Respond to field inquiries related to features, functions, and benefits ofGoogle products

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Direct HVAC installer/contractor experience required

  • Proven track record of successful sales to the HVAC and/or electric marketplace

  • Working knowledge of distribution, contractors, and working with installers

  • Experience cultivating high-level relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Strategic thinking capabilities

  • Google suite experience preferred

  • Able to grasp technical aspects of Google Nest products and successfully relay the benefits to the customer

  • Ability to travel within territory covering

  • Contact and data management experience - Daily input in CRM required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
