The Opportunity:

We are looking for a ServiceNow Technical Solution Architect with agile methodology experience to support our DoD customer to implement an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment. On this program, we will deliver capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk and endpoint management to enable the DoD customer’s IT operations.

Responsibilities:

  • As a ServiceNow Technical Solutions Architect for an agile team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the application’s architecture.

  • Maintain expert level understanding of enterprise and platform level architecture.

  • Liaison with business analysts and technical team to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet business needs and comply with enterprise and platform level architecture and standards.

  • Define Architecture design and ensure initiatives are appropriately aligned.

  • Work with business analysts and scrum master to create implementation plans for new features.

  • Evangelize the developed solution to team members and work with team members to breakup stories into tasks and assist in completion of tasks in timely fashion.

  • Keep up to date with industry trends and developments.

  • Delegate tasks and ensuring all daily, sprint and release goals are achieved.

  • Identifies risks, opportunities, compliance issues or other architectural concerns.

  • Provide expert advice and technical direction in Agile ceremonies.

  • Develop product teams technical skills through mentoring, coaching, and peer reviews.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 15+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).

  • 3+ years’ experience in incremental software development projects such as the Agile Scrum approach

  • Professional experience operating within cross-functional teams and groups.

  • An active DoD secret clearance or ability to obtain a secret clearance

  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator

  • Must meet 8570/8140 DoD Cyber Workforce Compliance requirement.

  • Experience managing and maintaining self-hosted ServiceNow instances.

  • Ability to collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers,and Production Support Engineers to implement innovative technical solutions via iterative approach reducing time to delivery

  • Proven experience working directly to oversee the architecture and development of the entire ServiceNow platform

  • Experience in agile software development practices and experience delivering deployable software in short sprints.

  • Good ability to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions

  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with Remedy to ServiceNow migration with a focus on ITSM core competencies and complex data sets.

  • Requires on site (Chantilly, VA) work location 5 days a week to be in proximity of self-hosted ServiceNow instances and environment.

Desired:

  • Ability to contribute to the development of program architecture and standards.

  • Experience in Continuous integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) as well as SecDevOps processes and tools.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$119,800 - $263,600
