Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC is seeking a Senior Program Integrator to work as part of a dynamic team supporting the Customer’s Special Communications mission. The successful candidate will be familiar with the Customer’s use of Strategic Communications and will provide wide-ranging support to a diverse portfolio of specialized communications capabilities and stakeholders. The candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently and in a team environment to complete important tasks including, but not limited to, the following:
Support to Current Operations:
· Monitor status and availability of satellite services and prepare formal notification of current and planned outages.
· Distribute documentation received from satellite service providers and manufacturers/resellers.
· Develop, update, and maintain standard operating procedures for support to current operations.
· Actively assist with move to automated web-based work process to build efficiencies.
· Transfer knowledge to team members to ensure robust account support and back up.
Coordinate with Users to Manage Satellite Services:
· Coordinate requests from Customer offices for the activation and deactivation of satellite services.
· Maintain the inventory of satellite user services for all Customer offices and provide summaries to offices when requested.
· Develop and maintain financial records providing insight into satellite service user’s share of annual service and management fees.
· Respond to inquiries from users concerning satellite services.
· Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for activation and deactivation of satellite services.
Coordinate with Satellite Service Providers:
· Initiate activation and deactivation of satellite services with service providers.
· Notify users when activation and deactivation of services has been completed.
· Analyze current inventory of satellite services with service providers to ensure consistency and resolve differences.
Support Team Projects:
· Track multiple actions to completion, keeping the team informed of status.
· Manage meeting notes, trip reports, and other team documentation ensuring structured storage of information and appropriate sharing.
· Assist team with write-ups from partner interactions and travel, meeting deadlines for submission.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Current TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree) and (15) years or more of related experience. Masters and (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and (10) years or more experience
Record of accomplishment supporting the Customer on planning, implementing, and tracking team initiatives and deliverables.
Track record of facilitating cooperation between multiple levels of the Customer and multiple organizations across the government.
Understanding of requirements gathering and documentation, and identification of collection gaps.
Experience maintaining large, complex equipment inventories.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to all audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully collaborate with teammates, mission partners, and stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Expertise with MS Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Expertise with Hive, Confluence, or other document management platforms.
Experience with the Customer’s cable database including drafting, tracking, and searching cables.
Understanding of the Customer’s application for drafting and coordinating official memoranda and an ability to shepherd memos through the process.
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of satellite communications to include communications devices and ground terminals.
Knowledge of commercial satellite developments and trends.
Experience with developing and coordinating IC or agency policies.
Understanding of planning and coordinating operational activities.
