Join our team of Sales Coordinators to help with calls, orders, and customer service!

Summary: As a member of the Martin’s Family, the Sales Coordinator p rovides administrative support to the Sales Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Receives in-coming calls .

  • Makes outbound calls if needed .

  • Remain friendly and professional at all times .

  • Remain positive while on the phone and with coworkers .

  • Takes orders for product for routes (via email, fax or phone) .

  • Up-dates computer to reflect orders received .

  • Informs route salesperson of any changes to scheduled orders .

  • Aids in resolution to all route and warehouse order discrepancies .\ Reconciles orders received each day .

  • Acts as initial contact for route salespersons .

  • Receives and adjusts order as directed by route salespersons .

  • Receives Customer Service calls .

  • Reply to customer letters, emails and website submissions .

  • One to two Saturdays a month is required .

  • Extended hours during peak seasons .

    Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED;

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or

  • Three to six months’ related experience and/or training; or

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Language Skills:

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    Mathematical Skills:

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts using basic math.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or orally. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Computer Skills:

  • Knowledge of Outlook.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
