Responsibilities

The Fishing Tool Coordinator will be tasked with the following job duties:

  • Serve as a liaison with client’s management.

  • Provide final quality checks on Weatherford's reports prior to presentation to client and perform frequent quality audits on Weatherford’s services.

  • Maintain a current copy of this Agreement and ensure Weatherford complies with all requirements.

  • Ensure Weatherford’s personnel, including subcontractors, meet Weatherford’s, client’s and regulatory training and competency requirements.

  • Keep abreast of client’s schedules and operations. A field ticket for personnel and equipment needs to be provided and signed off by Company Representative daily to mitigate issues with invoicing and payment processes.

  • Be the primary liaison contact for "call-out" and use of Weatherford's equipment/services as well as resolving any outstanding Company-Contractor issues.

  • Be the liaison to client’s on Safety, Security, Health & Environment (SSH&E) issues.

  • Maintain good communication with Weatherford's experts for problem resolution.

  • Be on call as directed by Company during drilling operations.

  • Maintain an inventory of equipment, spare parts, consumables and materials required to perform services.

  • Organize timely re-supply of spares and consumables to ensure uninterrupted operations.

  • Verify Weatherford's equipment has current inspection, calibration and other certifications as required by client’s Quality Specifications, Weatherford requirements and manufacturer's recommendations.

  • Verify Weatherford's equipment is maintained to client’s, Weatherford’s and manufacturers minimum standards.

  • Ensure Weatherford's equipment is operational and available for services when required.

  • Ensure appropriate tools are ready for each hole section.

  • Plan, advise and execute fishing operations.

  • Maintain good communications with client’s Drill Team, Company’s representatives, rig contractor, Company’s Rig Supervisor, Company's Operating Base and Weatherford's Operating Base.

  • Coordinate transportation of Weatherford’s personnel to and from client’s designated facility.

  • Verify Weatherford’s equipment is delivered to client's Operating Base or other Company designated facility when requested by Company.

  • Coordinate with Weatherford's Work-Site Supervisor to provide client with daily reports and costs of all operations.

  • Provide ongoing consultation and support to client’s Drill Team during operations and attend meetings when requested.

  • Ensure timely preparation of invoices with supporting documentation, in the format required by the Agreement, using cost codes provided by client.

  • Coordinate timely close out of non-conformance reports and manage Weatherford’s local lessons learned data base.

  • Prepare and submit for client’s approval a post job report documenting services provided, total costs, lessons learned and recommendations for future wells.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated 10 plus years experience Drilling Tools or providing Intervention Services including Fishing, Re-Entry, Wellbore Cleaning, etc.

  • First Degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution preferred
