Landscape laborers needed to use wheelbarrows to load and unload pallets of grass, artificial turf, tools and supplies; use shovels, pickaxes and rakes to excavate and level the soil; install pallets of grass and artificial turf; use hammers, hand blowers and weed eaters; haul and spread topsoil, mulch, sand and aggregates and related landscape laborer tasks. Applicants must be able to work outdoors, stand and bend for prolonged periods of time and carry loads up to 75 lbs. No education or experience required. On-the-job training will be provided. Multiple work site locations within area of intended employment in Bastrop, Travis, Hays and Williamson counties. Employer will provide transportation to work sites from central office in Cedar Creek, TX. Employer will pay a wage between $18.26/hr.- $20.25/hr. on a biweekly basis, depending upon experience and performance; no overtime available. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from worker's paycheck required by law will be made. Employer will provide all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no cost to worker. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). For workers outside reasonable commuting distances, inbound transportation, including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging, will be reimbursed, if worker completes half of the employment period (50% period). Return transportation and subsistence costs will be provided or paid for to same worker if worker completes employment period or is dismissed early by employer, disregarding intervening employment. Transportation payments or reimbursements will be equal to most economical and reasonable common carrier for distances involved; daily subsistence will be provided at rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel or the current minimum subsistence amount published in the Federal Register, to a maximum of $59.00 per day or the current maximum amount published in the Federal Register to workers with acceptable receipts.
