We are currently seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join our Worldwide Sales Operations team. This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic company in a mission critical organization.

Position Description:

This position will provide insight and assistance in many aspects of the Bookings to Commissions flow. You will participate in, and improve, key processes in the flow including territory and account planning, quota distribution, and quota credit reporting. You will complete substantial research surrounding exception pay and Sales Performance Incentive Fund (SPIF) programs. Good communication and presentation skills are required as there is regular interaction with sales team members and management as well as IT, finance, and operations personnel from other divisions. This position requires an in depth understanding of Cadence business models, Cadence products, Cadence customers and Cadence’s Quote to Cash process.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand, improve, and manage key steps in the Sales Operations processes within the Bookings to Commissions flow including the interfaces between these processes and external data sources

  • Account Master Management

  • Mergers & Acquisitions Management

  • Global Split System (GSS) Management

  • Territory Planning and Quota Distribution

  • Quota Credit Reporting and Analysis

  • Exception Pay and SPIF Nomination and Research

  • Participate in cross-functional teams required to implement process improvements.

  • Assist in setting priorities for resources across teams to achieve objectives.

  • Complete tasks assigned on time with high quality.

  • Foster an environment of collaboration, trust, and accountability.

Position Requirements:

  • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree.

  • An understanding of semiconductor design and/or related fields is preferred.

  • A minimum of five years of work experience is required preferably in either sales or technical sales support for semiconductor design or technologies in the semiconductor design supply chain. Experience in Sales Operations for a company in the technology sector is also acceptable.

  • Ability to read, understand and report on details of complex sales contracts is required.

  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel formulas, v-lookups, pivot tables).

  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and process improvement skills are a must.

  • Knowledge of, or experience with, Anaplan and/or IBM Planning Analytics, Salesforce, SQL, Python, OpenPyXL is a plus.

  • Experience working on cross-functional teams is desired.

  • Occasional domestic travel is required for this position.
