Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager in the detail oriented services industry, situated in Carrollton, Texas. This role involves the management of tax-related operations in public accounting, including the preparation of complex tax returns and other related duties.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and overseeing tax-related operations in a public accounting setting • Preparing complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, non-profits, etc. • Utilizing skills in tax preparation, returns, and personal tax management • Handling tax-related inquiries and providing solutions • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and keeping updated with the latest tax laws and regulations • Collaborating with team members to develop strategies for effective tax management • Working with relevant software for tax management and preparation, experience with CCH Engagement software would be advantageous • Maintaining detail oriented knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing detail oriented publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in detail oriented societies • Providing leadership and support to entry level staff members, fostering a supportive and efficient team environment • Ensuring the confidentiality and security of client records.

• Expertise in tax returns and partnership tax

• Strong knowledge of tax-related aspects in the detail oriented services industry

• Ability to manage and supervise tax-related projects

• Strong analytical skills for interpreting tax legislation

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• detail oriented Certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) is preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the detail oriented services industry

• Advanced proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• High level of integrity and professionalism

• Commitment to continuous learning and detail oriented development in the field of taxation.
