Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. This role is primarily onsite and involves managing accounts payable duties in a dog-friendly office. The job requires skills in data entry, invoice processing, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable functions, including processing and verification of invoices

• Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping of all transactions

• Manage purchase orders, matching slips, and credit card reconciliations

• Deal with material matching and other related tasks

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable

• Maintain and update financial records and databases

• Monitor and manage customer credit accounts

• Take appropriate action for collection of delinquent payments

• Assist in the resolution of customer credit inquiries

• Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Requirements • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar finance-related role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail

• Experience with invoice processing and payment

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
