Janitor Lead

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for general housekeeping duties of restrooms and cubical areas in the office.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and sanitizing.

• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms and office cubical areas.

• Remove litter, waste paper, broken down boxes, and conduct spot cleaning as necessary.

• Assist with construction-related tasks, moving furniture or shelving, and replacement of light bulbs.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in janitorial duties.

• At least 6 months of lead experience.

• Basic reading, math, and writing skills.

• Average mechanical aptitude.

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Work Environment

The dress code is casual, and employees will be provided with an HME work shirt. The position operates on a 2nd shift from approximately 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with flexibility in the times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $23.00/hr.
