What Youll Do: Lead & Support Volunteers Oversee up to 30 CASA volunteers, ensuring they receive training and guidance to advocate for children in foster care. Recruit & Train Actively recruit, screen, and train new volunteers and interns to build a strong advocacy team. Case Management Assign and monitor cases, support volunteers with reports, and attend court proceedings. Community Outreach & Fundraising Plan and participate in outreach events and fundraising initiatives. Program Reporting Maintain accurate volunteer hours and contribute to Advisory Council Meetings. What Were Looking For:
Self-Starter Youre highly motivated, organized, and thrive in a remote setting with minimal supervision. Strong Communicator You proactively provide clear guidance to volunteers and stakeholders. Detail-Oriented & Organized Ability to manage multiple cases, projects, and calendars efficiently. Passionate About Child Advocacy Background in human services, social work, or related fields preferred. Experience in Case Management or Supervision Prior experience mentoring or supervising is a plus! Fundraising & Marketing Experience Bonus points if youve worked in outreach, fundraising, or event planning. Flexible & Adaptable Willingness to work some evenings/weekends for meetings, training, or events. Drivers License & Reliable Transportation This role requires local travel (up to 25%).
Minimum Requirements:
2+ years of experience in human services or a related field OR a 2-year degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related discipline. Experience with children in foster care is preferred but not required. Why Join Us?
