FREMONT COUNTY Office Manager in CANON CITY, Colorado

POSITION: Office Manager

DEPARTMENT: Colorado State University Extension

DUTIES:

Performs administrative, secretarial, clerical and public contact duties in the Colorado State University (CSU) Extension Office. Coordinates and organizes various functions within the department to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. Prepares and processes bank deposits and reconciliations for all accounts, pays bills for accounts as necessary, and maintains electronic records of 4-H enrollments and clubs within the County. Monitors and maintains current year budget records. Assists the CSU Extension Agent to assure proper budget management. Prepares correspondence and compiles information for reports. Develops charts or tables based on departmental requirements, or from general specifications, for presentation of applicable information about the department to the Board of County Commissioners, fair board, Colorado State University or the general public. Assists the CSU Extension Agent with various special projects or programs. May be required to work overtime during the Fremont County Fair.

REQUIREMENTS:

Associate s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from an accredited college or university; two (2) to four (4) years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid Colorado driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

WAGE: $20.44/ Hourly

SHIFTS: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

JOB SITE: Canon City, CO
