Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, with hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of industrial equipment/machinery

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery

• Communicate with maintenance and operations managers

• Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480v

• Troubleshoot and program PLCs

• Work with photo eyes, sensors, and switches

• Install, replace, and maintain VFDs

• Install and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems

• Interpret blueprints and schematics

Essential Skills

• Industrial Maintenance Schooling

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics

• Mechanical skills (bearings, rollers, hydraulics)

• Electrical skills (3-phase/480V systems)

• 70/30 mechanical/electrical skill ratio

• Experience with preventive maintenance

• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming

• Welding and fabrication skills

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime required as needed. The work environment is a manufacturing facility with a mix of new and old equipment, including conveyor systems and spray booths.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CANFIELD, Ohio.
