Your Role

The Air Logistics Perishable Customer Care Specialist, will be responsible of the customer requirements by conducting air import/export processes through safety food standards and Food logistics Safety policy.

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Air import/export shipments according to the customer's and product's operational instruction in accordance with Fresh Chain’s internal training and procedures;

  • Analyze and evaluate risks and through control systems according to HACCP systematics, hazard analysis and control of food safety critical points.

  • Maintain strict control of suppliers qualified for food transportation, and approved by FreshChain;

  • Keep process information up-to-date in operating systems;

  • Generate and/or monitor issuance of certificates (Origin, Sanitary, Consular Visa, etc.) to join export processes;

  • Monitor registration of export processes;

  • Make space reservations with airlines, negotiating the rates of sporadic shipments;

  • Prepare and register the Export Declaration, LPCO and RUC information on Custom´s website;

  • Track all stages of shipments from origin to destination, keeping stakeholders informed through the tools available (email, telephone and operating systems)

  • Continuously carry out the calculation of the financial results of liability shipments;

  • Ensure the use of automatic quotation tools in the system;

  • Prepare performance indicator materials and participate in meetings with customers whenever demanded;

  • Work with sporadic level of supervision;

  • Meet and respect the values and policies of Health and Safety at Work, Quality and Environment, as well as the company's internal standards;

  • Perform other assignments according to the needs and characteristics of the area/branch and/or any new distributions of work;

  • Opening of Claim processes and their respective follow-up until the end of the process.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in exporting goods via air freight

  • Fluency in English

  • Highly responsible individual with demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a capacity for rapid task completion

This position requires flexibility and availability to work various shifts, including early mornings and weekends, as needed
