Project Operations Manager - VIE Contract

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

As Project Operations Manager VIE in our Project Management team you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of key projects within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution and planning, resource allocation, costs monitoring and risk management.

Main responsibilities:

  • Clearly outline project scope, objectives, work breakdown structure (WBS) and deliverables. Develop high level and detailed project plans.

  • Define a project with clear roles and responsibilities. Foster a collaborative environment to break down silos and accelerate delivery.

  • Optimize resource allocation and manage project resources efficiently.

  • Lead the project risk management process by guiding the team in identifying, assessing, and developing mitigation strategies for potential risks. Proactively manage and monitor critical risks, ensuring timely alerts and interventions when necessary.

  • Monitor project progress against plans, adjust as necessary, and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards and Project Management tool data entry requirements (Planisware).

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including team members. Prepare and present project documentation, reports, and data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.

  • Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools. Encourage innovative solutions and creative approaches to overcome project challenges and standardize project management practices within Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT).

  • Prepare and co-lead project performance reviews, gap analysis and Go/No Go committees.

  • Keep detailed records of project activities, decisions, and changes. Conduct and document project lessons learned sharing sessions.

  • Champion a culture of agility and adaptability, enabling teams to navigate complex challenges with confidence and creativity.

About you

Experience :

  • 1+ year of experience in a similar field or pharmaceutical industry would be an asset.

Soft and Technical skills:

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work autonomously.

  • Excellent organizational skills to keep track of project progress, resources, and schedules.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and foster a positive work environment.

  • Collaborative mindset to coordinate between departments, teams, and stakeholders.

Education :

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or similar field.

Languages :

  • Fluent English (written and verbal).
