Role overview

The Senior Technical Consultant (STC) - Service Portal owns the development and implementation of ServiceNow portal solutions, ensuring we meet business and technical requirements. Working closely with a solution architect, chipping in to craft discussions, and complete the hands-on development of User needs. The STC will also collaborate with UI/UX teams to align development with design standard processes.

What you’ll do

• Participate in requirements workshops, collaborate on both ServiceNow and Front-End standard processes!

• Support the solution architect on story estimation and documentation

• Complete technical development and configuration at the highest standard of technical quality.

• Provide technical design mentorship within projects following ServiceNow standard methodologies.

• Understand and guide on what frameworks, platform application, or technical stack can be used to devise a solution.

• Understands how ServiceNow applications will look, what modules will be in scope, and how they will work well with each other for client success.

• Understand and share with the team how the ServiceNow digital solution will scale in the future and how it will be supported.

• Assist the team in the assessment of new opportunities, design tools and techniques to deliver efficiently.

What you bring to the role

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Engineering, or the Sciences

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

• Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• While HRSD and other CIS certifications are advantageous, a solid grasp of scripting, app development, web services, APIs, and mobile application design is also crucial.

• 2+ years working on the ServiceNow platform.

• Participated in 5+ ServiceNow implementations across various disciplines.

• Extensive full stack and front-end development experience

• Angular JS, SOAP, REST, JSON, Ajax, CSS, SaSS, HTML, JavaScript, (bonus) TypeScript

• ServiceNow Portal Stack (widgets, pages, themes, components, taxonomy)

• ServiceNow server-side development
