Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

Job Description

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be a key member of the Inventory Control team, working alongside approximately five other team members. Your primary responsibilities will include moving products around the facility, performing cycle counts in a cooler environment, and handling necessary paperwork. You will also assist in staging products and collaborate with the shipping and receiving team, utilizing a sit-down forklift.

The night shift runs from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM, and weekend availability is a must.

Responsibilities

• Move products around the facility.

• Perform cycle counts in a cooler environment.

• Handle paperwork with strong communication skills.

• Assist in staging products.

• Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team.

• Operate a sit-down forklift.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of experience in inventory control and cycle counts.

• Experience with forklifts, specifically sit-down forklifts.

• Experience in warehouse shipping and receiving.

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in cooler environments.

• 2+ years of forklift experience.

• Proficient with RF scanners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication skills for handling paperwork.

• Ability to work independently and be productive.

• 1 year of work experience in a food distribution company is a plus.

Shifts consist of approximately 30 people. Employees must drive to the facility and wear steel toe boots that cover their ankles. The atmosphere is relaxed, allowing for comfortable clothing.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
