Job Title: Interior Assembler

Job Description

Remove, install, and/or fabricate aircraft interiors, including trim, carpet, sound proofing, light structure, cabinetry, panels, and other accessories, ensuring all work adheres to company design specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations. Responsibilities include disassembling and reassembling cabinetry, installing avionics and plumbing, and working under general supervision to fabricate aircraft furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies. You will assemble, pin, and glue cabinet shells, install hardware, apply exterior surface materials, and use various power tools. Compliance with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies is mandatory, and you will use personal protective equipment to protect the aircraft interior. Additionally, you will participate in process improvements that enhance safety and efficiency.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cahokia, Illinois.

Work Environment

Training will be on 1st shift, Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Regular shifts include 4 openings Monday-Thursday 5:45 AM to 4:15 PM with some overtime as business needs dictate, and 2 openings on 2nd shift from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM with some overtime as business needs dictate. You will be part of a Build Team that is expanding.
