Description

We are offering a role for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Burlington, Vermont. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable system, which includes processing payments, resolving issues, and ensuring accuracy in our financial records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the full cycle of accounts payable processes

• Comply with company policies while accurately and timely completing daily processes and controls

• Validate, record, and send checks, ensuring timely handling

• Provide administrative support to the AP/Finance Department

• Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

• Ensure proper sorting, logging, scanning, and filing of invoices, checks, and other documents

• Assist in internal and external audits as required

• Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the management

• Utilize software such as MS Excel, Sage, etc., to maintain accurate records and perform data analysis.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficient in Excel Formulas

• Familiarity with Sage Software

• Ability to Code Invoices

• Experience with Check Runs and Check Processing

• Skilled in Expense Reconciliation and Expense Reports

• Proficiency in MS Excel

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to work well in a team and independently

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
