Job Description

We are seeking an HVAC Technician to work with duct work for large commercial jobs. The technician will be responsible for installing duct work, cutting and trimming duct work, and utilizing shears, hammers, cordless drills, and punches. This technician will also be responsible for the installation or service of heating, air handling, and cooling units. An understanding of mechanical repair and troubleshooting is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Install duct work on ladders and lifts

  • Cut and trim duct work using shears, hammers, cordless drills, and punches

  • Install heating, air handling, and cooling units

  • Service and troubleshooting of units when necessary

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in residential or commercial HVAC

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with or installing duct work

  • Basic electrical experience preferred

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to read a tape measure

Work Environment

This position involves working at new construction sites as well as existing sites during any HVAC service. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime as wanted or needed. Required attire includes steel toe boots, a hardhat, a safety vest, and gloves. This technician will typically work in 3-4 person teams for any new construction project.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
