What you’ll do:

As P2P Team Leader you will lead and manage a group Operational buyers, to identify work simplification/standardization and to ensure the effective processing of Purchase to Pay duties and for a time being handle certain buyer responsibilities with critical vendors. The purpose of the position is to support European Eaton plants' procurement activities from our center of excellence office from Budapest. You will be responsible for managing a small team of operational buyers and for the time being handle certain buyer responsibilities with critical vendors. Further responsibilities:

Lead & Manage People (span of control up to 12 team members)

  • Ensure employees have the critical training to perform jobs and integrate new team members.

  • Resolve employee issues, concern and problems, act as role model for team members.

  • Facilitate career path discussion with employees.

  • Develop and manage appropriate individual and team metrics to drive performance improvement and ensure business goals are met.

  • Assure team is adhering to Eaton global and local policies.

Operational Buyer responsibilities for critical vendors/materials:

  • Procures materials following plant and corporate regulations (QA, SCM).

  • Communicates and coordinates with product line supervisors/leaders and purchasing teams, works with suppliers and close collaboration with commodity managers

  • Handles end-to-end procurement process from purchase requisition to deliver on time.

  • Updates, analyses and evaluates list of qualified suppliers and company performance indicators.

  • Maintains inventory levels of materials, handles various purchasing data and supplier invoice management

  • Utilizes all digital tools available for SCM for maximize efficiency, creates regular and ad-hoc reports

  • Looks for cost out opportunities and supports SCM strategy

  • Contributes to process improvement, new tool implementations, standardization and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in accredited university

  • Relevant working experience in Procurement/Materials Management preferably in a manufacturing environment

  • People management or team coordination experience is advantage

  • MS Office skills and ERP experience (SAP is preferable)

  • Fluent English language capabilities; (any additional European language would be a plus – German highly preferred)

  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and quick response to deadlines

  • Strong motivation and mentoring skills, also ability to work in a team

  • Ability to communicate effectively on different levels

  • Proactive, reliable and flexible attitude

  • Strong focus on continuous and process improvement
