About the role

Join our team as “Software Engineer for Simcenter 3D, Post-Processing” from our office in Brasov, or Bucharest, Romania. You will be part of an international team with team members in Belgium, Romania and Germany, and extended team members in U.S., India and China. You will join a dynamic AGILE team with challenging projects focusing on end-users (which can be other developers) where your technical interest will be fostered including lots of trainings for your personal and technical development. You will be developing for our unique solution called Simcenter 3D

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Participate in all team meetings and actively engage in the planning process and commit to the team’s goals of each sprint. It is expected that each team member readily supports on another to reach that goal. Good communication skills are vital in this position.

• Analyze requirements and develop software designs which may involve complicated workflows and multiple product areas

• Develop, enhance, and maintain CAE software for Windows and Linux

• Addressing internally and externally reported bugs and maintaining test suites

• Creating and executing quality assurance test plans, including both manual and automated testing

• Writing documentation for the developed code

• Writing Story/Functional spec

Your qualifications

• Degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering

• Proven skills in C++, OO development methodology

• Basic mathematics (matrix, inverse of a matrix, vectors, complex numbers etc.)

• Knowledge about agile

• Automated testing experience

• Experience with source control

• Good knowledge of English (both written and spoken)

• Flexibility on task switching based on priority
