Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Tester II within our team. This role offers remote work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Need attention to detail, ability to work in a team as well as individually, planning, organization, and proficiency with waterfall and agile development software
• Understanding of the following types of testing: system test, system integration test, regression test
• Familiarity with testing software such as JIRA or TFS
• General understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Analyzing the business requirements/specifications provided by business
• Understanding the business background and clearly defining the scope and key objectives of the project
• Writing, data preparing, and executing Test cases, analyzing the actual results against the expected results, reporting the defect and retesting the bug fixes
• Discussing the defects entered with the development team and application owners, tracking the process and documenting the solution using the tool TFS
• System Testing, System Integration Testing, and Regression Testing functionality delivered prior to production release
• Participate in daily meetings and provide status reports
• Each phase of the project involves substantial meetings and professional communications with the management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field of study.
• 2 + years of experience with problem solving critical thinking and the ability think outside the box for solutions
• 2 + years of experience working with SQL
• 2 + years of experience with system Testing
• 2 + years of experience with project planning

The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $56,000 to $87,000.
