Job Title : Cyber Security Architect

Job Summary :

The Cyber Security Architect will play a critical role in ensuring security of Resideo enterprise systems and data. The Senior Cyber Security architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cyber security technologies to protect our products, systems, and data, monitor and anticipate security trends, and apply innovative ideas to enhance existing systems architecture. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, familiarity with security principles and desire to grow their cyber security and leadership skills.

JOB DUTIES:

• Assist in designing and structuring security solutions to protect enterprise systems, networks, and data.

• Participate in threat modeling and risk assessments to evaluate potential security threats and their impact in new and existing enterprise systems.

• Participate in identifying security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats within the organization’s IT environment and propose mitigation strategies.

• Help in developing and maintaining security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the successful deployment of security architectures and solutions.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of security architectures, processes, and procedures.

• Stay informed on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in cybersecurity and enterprise architecture to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5-8 years of relevant experience (IT, Software Development, Architecture, Cyber security, etc).

• Understanding of security principles and practices.

• Understanding of security by design principles and architecture level security concepts.

• Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and attack vectors, such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and buffer overflows.

• Exposure to cloud security and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

WE VALUE

• Experience in security architecture role, such as enterprise security architect, application security architect, or product security architect.

• Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle and practices such as threat modeling and security reviews.

• Certifications in security and privacy such as CSSLP or CISSP are advantageous, but not required.

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or similar.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of cybersecurity and enterprise architecture.
