Oracle Test Automation Engineer in BRNO, Czech Republic
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Test Automation Engineer / QA Engineer to design and implement automated tests across database schema, business logic, and the presentation layer. You will actively participate in our agile development sprints, collaborate with engineers to define testing strategies, and contribute to risk analysis and mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated tests (backend and frontend) for multiple layers of the application (database, business logic, and presentation).
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to analyze testing requirements and plan release-testing strategies.
Participate in sprints to ensure continuous testing, quick feedback, and high-quality product releases.
Propose mitigation plans and testing approaches, including performance, smoke, exploratory, and regression testing.
Contribute to risk analysis discussions, identifying potential issues and developing best-practice solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background :
- B.S. or Master’s in Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
Technical Experience :
2+ years of software testing experience.
Proficiency in Java, C#, or similar programming languages.
Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
Strong understanding of HTTP, Internet protocols, and web browsers.
Solid experience with testing methodologies and techniques.
Proven ability to test high-performance, scalable applications.
Soft Skills :
Excellent problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for understanding functional requirements.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Collaborative mindset and an openness to discussion within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Hands-on test automation experience for web applications (integration/UI/JavaScript testing).
Familiarity with client-side UI frameworks (Angular, React, or similar).
Knowledge of ECMAScript versions and browser compatibility.
Experience testing cloud applications or PaaS solutions.
Understanding of cloud-based distributed software architectures.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.
