Introduction:
Boeing Global Enterprise Services (BGES) provide internal services to 100 non-US locations, in 34 countries, ensuring safe, secure & compliant operations in an effective and efficient delivery model for our stakeholder communities. The team reports into Boeing Global supporting regional teams and works in close collaboration with Enterprise Services, Global Real Estate, Facilities and Asset Management, Indirect Supply Chain, Enterprise Financial Services, Security & Fire
Protection, IT&DA and HR Services to deliver a global capability. Within the UK&I the BGES team support 18 facilities which is a combination of Offices, Hangars, Factories and Training facilities.
About the Role:
The Boeing Global Enterprise Services (BGES) team is looking to hire a Regional Project Focal for the UK and Ireland, with focus on Facilities . This role will report into the BGES Regional Leader for the UK and Ireland region. This position will lead a variety of projects across our portfolio integrating with a number of functional partners and business stakeholders across the various entities.
This is a hybrid position that can be based out of a number of sites, including Bristol, Frimley, Heathrow or Westminster, with a degree of travel required across the BGES UK&I portfolio.
Position Responsibilities:
Project Management lead for projects within the UK and Ireland, these may be local projects pertinent to the region, or Global projects which need to be implemented locally, this could involve large scale relocation projects, local building fitouts and refreshes, or implementation of a new process or tool. This role requires reach across to other BGES Regions to share best practice, recommend solutions and establish if there are new elements to be implemented locally. A firm understanding and prior application of Project Management tools and processes is essential in this role.
Key elements include:
Manage multiple projects concurrently of varying scale, complexity and value
Key integrator between functional partners
Gain an understanding of functional partners processes to ensure alignment and advise other team members within BGES
Develop and maintain key relationships and partnerships with business partners, customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports for multiple sites with significant scope and complexity
Work alongside our Business Operations focal to ensure compliance across the region and provide support and backup where needed
Provide technical support to sharepoints, shared drives, tableau, office 365
Regional standardization and alignment globally
Site integration and onboarding packs for BGES, provide new hire support
Support to Sustainability and Environmental projects
Implement Problem Solving templates and have a lean mindset
Skills and Experience
Experience of project management and ideally team leadership experience
Must be a proactive, assertive, high energy individual who can work efficiently in an environment where priorities can change frequently
Must be highly responsive to the needs generated by the day-to-day activities of the sites and business management requirements
Should exhibit mature and independent judgment, initiative and flexibility
Should be able to demonstrate strong collaboration skills
High levels of discretion are required. Demonstrated experience of working in a confidential environment
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written communication in English
Be computer literate with excellent experience of MS Office. Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential
Experienced in working in a multicultural environment
Experience of working within a US based or aerospace company would be advantageous
Travel is required circa 50% of the time across the UK and Ireland.
The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills to work within a busy team and to support staff across the region, be a team player to deliver initiatives, you should be highly organised and motivated with the ability to multi task and prioritise as needed. A professional and friendly demeanor is essential.

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Work Authorization :
This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
PLEASE NOTE: The successful candidate will be expected to undergo a Security Clearance Process, which will require 5 years uninterrupted residency in the UK prior to applying.
