Principal Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the effective execution of procurement activities related to strategic projects needed by Operations teams (Plants and Production, Turnarounds and maintenance activities in plants or major equipment purchases).

* Negotiate and manage frame agreements (MSA) with global and regional vendors for the region.

* Develop and implement requests for proposals or quotes and commercial processes in alignment with company guidelines.

* Manage procurement reporting and communication functions for ongoing sourcing projects.

* Implement best practices to optimize supply chain within the organization.

* Improve internal business partner relationship and internal compliance level.

* Develop, build, and maintain relationships with key suppliers to maximize their added value to company.

* Coordinate the identification of initiatives to deliver savings targets and meet general department objectives.

* Contribute to the delivery of financial targets by supporting regional initiatives.

* Perform negotiations and create bid tabulations, cost comparisons, and contracts.

* Monitor and report key performance indicators to procurement and business stakeholders.

* Standardize and automate tactical activities in alignment with Procurement Execution team.

* Create savings pipeline and ensure accurate tracking.

* Create, consolidate, and update procurement plans provided by Operations and Project Managers.

* Communicate process changes and improve buyer-customer interface.

* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless coordination of procurement strategies on a regional scale.

* Initiate and lead procurement-related transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

* Benchmark supplier performance against industry standards to drive continuous improvements.

* Telecommuting/remote option available - must reside within contiguous United States.

Required Skills:

* Experience in sourcing for turnarounds and maintenance activities in plants. -Experience with procure to pay process including using procurement technologies and tools such as Coupa, SAP, and Salesforce to expedite the purchase process and maintain accurate records.

* Experience extracting and analyzing data from SAP and Coupa to generate reports for management.

* Functional knowledge of economic conditions and geopolitical factors that may impact procurement landscape including inflation rates, labor conditions, import/export costs, prices of raw materials, trade policies, environmental legislation, and industrial gas compliance requirements.

* Functional knowledge of market trends and competitive landscapes in the labor and services industry including trends in prices, wages, and industry revenue as well as product and service segmentation, technological developments, and market share among labor and service suppliers.

* 10% domestic travel.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.

* Five years of supply chain or procurement experience.

* Three years of experience leading and coordinating sourcing events or procurement activities for industrial plants or construction.
