We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Buyer - IT Procurement with strong contracts management experience across multiple spend categories, including hardware, software, and IT services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing contracts and negotiations with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions. In addition, paralegal experience is highly desired to assist with legal and compliance matters related to strategic and tactical procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement process from sourcing to contract execution, including negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers across IT product and services spend categories including hardware, software, network and managed infrastructure and applications

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply for IT products and services

  • Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action as needed

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify IT procurement needs and develop sourcing plans with ability to run and create RFx’s including design, scoping of requirements, and overall process from start to finish

  • Conduct all phases in the development of contracts, including reviewing statements of work or requirements, request for information (RFI), and request for proposal (RFP) development

  • Partner with a broad mix of stakeholders on contract evaluation, redlining, and negotiation, such as Legal, Privacy, Information Security, and Compliance

  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies

  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in IT procurement

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements

  • Assist with legal and compliance matters related to procurement, including contract review, drafting and amendments

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts and financial records

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the IT sector, with high proficiency in contract management

  • Paralegal experience highly desirable. Professional certification a plus

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, agile mindset

  • Self-motivated and action-oriented, committed to learning new skills

  • Possess strong analytical and organization skills needed to manage multiple strategic and tactical procurement simultaneously

  • Knowledge of procurement best practices/metrics and legal and regulatory requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP P2P/spend management, contract lifecycle management software (Evisort preferred)
