Design and refine office furniture products, including our Sunline sliding cubicle system. Research, design, and test new products from conception to production. Create new designs or refine existing designs that meet reliability, cost, and quality goals. Determine the materials, finishes, and the final appearance of the designed products based on customer requirements. Design customized products

and confirm their performance by creating CAD files in SolidWorks and 3D renderings in KeyShot. Test and improve the performance of the designed product using 3D printing and simulation on parts and assemblies in SolidWorks. Collaborate with sourcing team and manufacturers on manufacturing the designed products. Design furniture based on manufacturing standards, including Design for Assembly (DFA) to increase the ease of assembly and reduce the number of required parts, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to minimize the complexity of the manufacturing process and reduce the cost of fabricating individual components to control production costs.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design or a related field and 3 years of experience designing products based on Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) standards, performing tolerance analysis, and using a CAD program such as SolidWorks.
