About the Role: Kitsap Credit Union is searching for a Director of Software Engineering to be responsible for providing direction and leadership to the software engineering and Salesforce teams. The position will plan, coordinate, direct, and roadmap activities for the credit union's web technologies and Salesforce implementations, with particular focus on both meaningful outcomes and simplification to support the company's business objectives. The Director will work closely with other departments to identify and recommend features for the web and Salesforce roadmaps, and then direct the team to develop, implement, and support the features that provide the organization with the most value. The ideal candidate will possess a strong hands-on development background, exceptional coaching and mentoring skills, and a proven track record of driving innovation and efficiency. Technical product management experience is a plus. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES * Lead and manage the software engineering and Salesforce teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members. * Oversee the complete software development lifecycle of software applications and systems, including Salesforce. * Collaborate with other departments to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. * Streamline intake of new projects and ensure workloads are evenly distributed and appropriate. * Ensure that software projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. * Prepare and present information on the status of software projects to stakeholders and management * Develop and implement software engineering best practices, standards, and processes. * Monitor and evaluate the performance of software applications and systems, making recommendations for improvements as needed. * Conduct research to evaluate and recommend products for purchase and implementation. * Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure that the company remains competitive. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Proficient with software development tools and technologies, including C#, .NET, HTML, XML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, and Microsoft Azure Cloud Services. * Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL database programming. * Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Vendo To view the full job description,
