Actalent Sample Preparation Technician in Brea, California

Job Title: Sample Preparation TechnicianJob Description

As a Sample Preparation Technician, you will perform a variety of tasks to ensure sample homogeneity. Your daily responsibilities will include labeling, transferring, using liquid nitrogen, milling, blending, weighing, and disposal of samples. You will support sample entry in the morning and engage in sample preparation in the afternoons. Additionally, you will communicate sample information, report discrepancies to appropriate personnel, handle internal customer inquiries, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Brea, California.

Work Environment

This role is based in an office/lab setting within a team environment. You will work cohesively with chemists, other sample prep technicians, and data entry employees. Reporting to a Manager or Supervisor, you will be part of a dynamic team of 27 employees onsite. The work hours for this position are 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 10-6pm or 11-7pm.
