Maintenance Mechanic | North Branch, NJ - $52,000 - $72,800 with medical, dental, vision, 401k

2nd shift 2:pm -10:30pm

Duties-

Interacts with production employees, QA, and other maintenance technicians to improve and maximize plant output, efficiency, quality, and safety.

Utilizes process improvement techniques, tools, and procedures.

Maximizes performance of machinery: Troubleshoots equipment problems, makes changes, and all plant equipment.

Reads blueprints and technical manuals.

Assists with efficient equipment changes and mold changes to accommodate production needs.

Utilize preventative maintenance program to maintain and prevent failure of equipment.

Produce quality product through tight monitoring of process, raw materials, and finished products.

Preserve plant equipment through proper cleaning and maintaining.

Records, documents, and reports various data.

Requirements-

Good manual dexterity and concentration.

Can stand for long periods of time.

Can reach within hands and arm’s length, bend and stoop, walk, and stand consistently for long periods of time.

Can lift up to 50 lbs.

Can withstand manufacturing working conditions.

Can work in small/confined spaces.

Education/Certifications/Skills

HS Diploma or equivalent.

Can read and comprehend procedures written in English.

Basic PLC knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Basic ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Sound problem solving skills.

Attention to detail.

Level 1 Experience-

1-3 yrs. of related experience.

Level 2 Experience-

4-6 yrs. of related experience.

Level 3 Experience-

7-10 yrs. of related experience.

Level 4 Experience-

11+ yrs. of related experience.
