The RTC Operator is responsible for assisting the production supervisor and team lead with the overall refurbishment of all incoming and outgoing cylinders. The position is responsible for all overall refurbishing of cylinders, including but not limited to testing cylinders, blasting and painting cylinders.

Shift Work Expectations
2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
Operate equipment to test, blast, band, paint cylinders utilizing water-based paint and certifying cylinders when needed
Ensures that processed product meets established regulatory, customer, and A-Gas internal requirements and specifications
Follows quality protocol concerning required documentation of verifications and the documentation, notification and handling of non-conformities
Inspects and examines cylinders for defects, dents and cracks
Understands hazards of various gases; size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Process Technician Experience or associate degree preferred
Forklift, overhead crane and clamp operation experience required or ability to become certified within 60 days
Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand tools
Functional computer skills required
Physical Demand Requirements:
Frequently pushes, pulls, moves and/or lifts up to 50 pounds independently
Frequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbers
Manipulations (seizing, holding, grasping or otherwise working with hands) up to 50-75% of the day
Constantly works in environments with uncontrolled climate and some exposure to outdoor weather conditions
