Job Description

A large government contractor is looking for a Hardware Engineer to join their team! This position is located onsite in Boulder, CO, working a 4 x 10 schedule. This individual would be joining a large space program working on satellites for missile defense. They are looking for an entry-level individual with a background, degree, or interest in aerospace engineering who is interested in being hands-on and assembling customer off-the-shelf products at the site. This individual would be helping in replacing existing Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, documenting equipment, and down the line helping with drawings and installations. This is starting off as a contract until EOY with a likely extension and the possibility to grow into a multi-year contract. They are looking to hire immediately -- apply today!

Pay Range: $30-55/ hr

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience in system-level IT hardware integration and testing with an understanding of data center infrastructure including power, cooling, and space requirements as well as routers, switches, firewalls, workstations, and servers

Experience creating and maintaining critical design documentation (Visio for design is a plus)

Experience with RF devices and systems, as well as a foundation in RF principles, is preferred

An active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance required Experience with system integration projects, documentation development, and the full engineering lifecycle of delivering new IT infrastructure is highly value null
