The Program Coordinator 1 will be responsible for:

• Provide administrative support to a team of high-volume Clinical Staff including but not limited to: professional and clinical calendar management, reimbursement requests, patient insurance authorizations, and transportation arrangements

• Support said providers with complex scheduling needs and patient requests

• Work as a liaison between patients/families and clinicians

• Communicate with outside hospitals and services to obtain medical records, prepare charts, and refer/schedule additional appointments and services as needed

• Utilize strong interpersonal skills and varied communication styles to correspond effectively with a diverse clinical team, administrative co-workers, area institutions, and varied patient populations to ensure the highest quality experience for all parties involved

• Act as the “go to” person for program logistics

• Lead and perform administrative functions requiring in‑depth knowledge of departmental programs and services.

• Work on additional ancillary projects as deemed necessary by supervisor.

  In order to qualify, you must have:

• High school diploma- required (Bachelors preferred)

• 1 year of Administrative experience (preferably in healthcare)

• A strong desire to learn all areas of the department, including scheduling, customer service, and inventory management.

• An openness to learning new tasks, flexibility, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously
