FIVE-10 WATERFRONT OVERVIEW: Anchored on Boston’s historic waterfront, with breath-taking views of beautiful Fort Point Channel, is Boston’s premiere destination for breezy seasonal afternoons and hot summer nights. Five-10 Waterfront provides a vibrant neighborhood oasis for those looking to socialize and unwind all summer long. InterContinental Boston’s popular outdoor summer bar, with 72 seats, opens for lunch and dinner Monday through Sundays from May - September (weather permitting).

AVAILABLE POSITIONS: Bartender/ Server

POSITION OVERVIEW: Summertime calls for sunshine, seasonal favorites and signature cocktails. Five-10 Waterfront will deliver on this promise, offering a New England-inspired menu, signature pitchers and cocktails. As an energetic Seasonal Five-10 Waterfront colleague you will have overall responsibility for completing your job duties in a timely fashion and ensuring our guests have a memorable experience, all the while maintaining a high level of quality, and consistency, as you delivering impeccable service that exemplifies our Forbes Four-Star service standards.

QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications include basic reading, writing and math skills. Food and beverage service experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations. Basic knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments is preferred. You must meet the state legal age requirements and an alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler cards may be required.

You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: handling, carrying or pushing items weighing up to 50 pounds, moving about the bar/restaurant and kitchen, bending, stooping, kneeling and lifting.
