Humana Associate Director, Vulnerability Management(remote) in Boston, Massachusetts

Do you have what it takes to drive a mature, efficient Vulnerability Management program to the next level? At Humana VM our goal is to empower our business by providing consistent, objective risk information about the vulnerability footprint of the Enterprise. We consistently drive down risk by allowing remediation resources to focus on the vulnerabilities that matter most.

The Associate Director, Threat and Vulnerability Management ensures that threats and vulnerabilities to the organization's business systems and applications (both in-house and cloud-based) are minimized. The Associate Director, Threat and Vulnerability Management requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s). This role is responsible for all Vulnerability Governance functions including Vulnerability ingestion, Risk Rationalization, Reporting, Remediation governance and all supporting processes. Most importantly this position and their team serve as the primary contact point between all remediation owners and the Humana Security organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 6 or more years of experience in Threat and Vulnerability Management

  • 2 or more years of leadership experience

  • Highly experienced with vulnerability detection systems, Vulnerability Aggregation systems (such as ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, Qualys, Nucleus, etc)

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

  • Experience effectively managing offshore resources

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a Technical Field

  • Security Certification

Remote/WAH requirements:

  • WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$156,600 - $215,400 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
