The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Corporate Event Manager to join our team of event planners. This role will focus on planning and executing Tier 1 external events and managing junior event staff. This key position includes the responsibility to engage and oversee executive and project stakeholders throughout the entire event process, from initial concept to final approval and execution. This requires interacting directly with these stakeholders and effectively managing their input and involvement.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing strategy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to create best-in-class event experiences. Additionally, this role emphasizes standardizing event measurement, assessing pipeline impact, and ensuring the operational rigor of the events team. Coordination with growth marketing and partner marketing teams to ensure consistent event practices and alignment of efforts is essential. Supporting the Director of Events by developing, researching, and socializing a comprehensive external event strategy is also a critical component of this position.
This role reports to the Director of Events.

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.
The Main Responsibilities
Develop, research, and implement a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and drives awareness and perception alongside Director of Events.
Lead and manage event planners, prioritizing and assigning events and activities to ensure the successful execution of each event.
Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure that we remain at or below budget
Ownership of vendor relationships, including Tradeshow House and Event Vendor relationships
Create and deliver customized event programs and agendas that meet internal stakeholders' and external attendees' needs and objectives.
Manage event logistics, including venue selection, transportation, and lodging arrangements.
Advanced understanding of constructed booth including management of installation labor, quality assurance and timelines
Maintain and track metrics critical to the success of events, including promotions, leads, opportunities, and ROI analysis, and communicate the progress and status of programs to internal stakeholders.
Provide detailed post-event reports by conducting surveys, gathering stakeholder feedback, and creating action plans around improvement following all activations.
Ensure that all event production, including AV, lighting, sound, and staging, meets the highest quality and brand standards and is executed seamlessly
Develop frameworks, guides, and best practices for event marketing logistics, including (but not limited to) equipment, technology, food and beverage, marketing collateral, activations, staffing, travel requirements, and more
Experience managing large-scale events (such as customer conferences or partner events), including strategy, planning, execution, management, and reporting
Additional Reponsibilities
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, and continually seek ways to innovate and improve our events program.
Continuously seek to improve the event planning process and incorporate feedback into future events.
Coordinate with the Corporate Communications team on media inquiries and ensure that event messaging is aligned with the company's overall messaging and brand standards.
Coordinate with the Corporate Marketing teams to ensure brand storytelling, campaigns, and sales enablement strategies are integrated.
Consult with internal stakeholders to determine objectives and requirements for events
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor's degree in business administration and/or Marketing
A minimum of 10 years of Event Planning
Experience managing a team
Experienced in working directly with senior executives as a strong collaborator and partner.
Demonstrated and consistent excellence in program management and leading large in-person and virtual events, comfortable to adjust at the moment and going above and beyond
Experience working collaboratively on a team and cross-functionally with other departments.
Understanding of marketing strategy and planning
Skilled communicator with great interpersonal skills
Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized
Understanding of health and safety and accessibility regulations would be a plus
May require domestic and/or international travel up to 25%
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
