What you will do

Position title: SAP Digital Experience, Junior Category Manager - Early Career Talent

Location: Colombia Hybrid work set-up

Duration: Temporary up to 2 years

As a Junior Category Manager in the Marketplace unit of SAP Digital Experience (DX), you will be responsible for managing the digital presence of partner apps on the SAP digital marketplace for a given category. You will ensure they meet all go-to-market checks and optimize the digital presence of these solutions. You will understand the importance of business processes and how partner add-ons enhance the value our customers derive from using SAP products. You will therefore be able to articulate how they complement and integrate SAP solutions. As a Junior Category Manager, you work closely with the senior Category Manager, digital publishing team, Platform Managers, and other stakeholders to create attractive digital offerings, highlight and promote partner apps and relevant SAP solutions. You will support the onboarding and testing of SAP solutions as well as new platform capabilities as needed. You will track your products performance both on-page as well as from a revenue perspective to identify revenue-generating opportunities for SAP and Partner solutions. You are comfortable working with complex systems and understand that availability and co-existence of SAP products and partner add-ons on SAP Store is essential to our business and a key driver of our efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Review partner app submissions for your assigned category.

  • Familiarize yourself with SAP solutions in your category and understand how partner apps extend their capabilities.

  • Help maintain and test SAP solutions in our systems before and after they go live.

  • Ensure all commercial requirements are met for the digital commercialization of products on the SAP marketplace.

  • Create tickets for product issues in our systems, work with support teams to track their status all the way to resolution.

  • Manage communication with key stakeholders and ensure all digital business needs are addressed.

  • Track the performance of products in your category and identify opportunities to generate additional revenue.

  • Analyze performance reports and data to extract useful information and gain insights to identify and promote the right product set to optimize revenue for our digital marketplace.

  • Monitor performance metrics for your products and come up with ways to improve their digital presence.

What you bring

Education:

  • Must be a recent Graduate of a bachelors degree

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering or Business.

  • Finished Internship

Requirements and Experience:

  • Strong business acumen with high aptitude to quickly learn about systems, their respective roles in a given landscape, how they integrate with each other and how they support our business.

  • Familiarity with SAP Commerce Cloud or other e-commerce platforms, CRM technology, and order-to-cash processes.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Ability to lead projects from conception to delivery and experience leveraging internal resources to get things done.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and in different time zones with a high desire to deliver results.

  • Ability to find workarounds and think outside of the box.

  • Ability to be a self-starter and a proactive attitude.

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time and prioritize effectively.

  • Fluent in written and verbal English.

Work Experience:

  • Experience in business development, marketing, consulting, or as a business analyst, ideally for a high-tech company.

  • Familiarity and/or ability to learn how to use complex software or technology is a plus.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience measuring and tracking business performance.
