Robert Half Tax Return & Financials Reviewer Consultant in Boca Raton, Florida
Description We are in search of a Tax Return & Financials Reviewer Consultant to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. As part of this role, you will be primarily involved in reviewing and adjusting financial statements, ensuring compliance with various tax filings, and providing business and tax consultations. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Reviewing financial statements prepared using QuickBooks and making necessary adjustments
• Handling corporate, personal, partnership, and trust tax returns prepared using Thomson Reuters UltraTax Software
• Meeting with clients to review their financial statements, discuss tax returns, and provide necessary business and tax consultations
• Ensuring compliance with payroll tax, sales tax, and other tax filings
• Communicating with team members to provide feedback on their work and with clients to review their financials, resolve outstanding items, and assist in any other requested areas
• Implementing best practices across all levels to enhance the quality of customer service
• Overseeing the proper filing of documents in a paperless setting
• Reviewing and processing IRS correspondence
• Responding to client requests for documents and managing office email communications
• Assisting with the preparation of payroll tax forms
• Ensuring accurate preparation and filing of payroll tax forms and sales tax forms
• Providing financial advice to clients and implementing quality control measures to improve accuracy and efficiency. Requirements • The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in tax return review and financial consulting.
• Proficiency with Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software is required.
• Expertise in QuickBooks is a must for managing financial records.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks Pro will be advantageous.
• The candidate should have experience in preparing Individual Tax Returns.
• Experience in preparing Partnership Returns is necessary.
• The candidate should have the ability to handle Trust Returns.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Corporate Tax Return is expected.
• The candidate should be capable of managing Payroll Tax Returns.
• The ability to handle Sales Tax Returns is an essential requirement.
