Summary:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, developing financial models, and providing insights to support business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and variance analysis.

  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast business performance and assess financial implications of various business strategies.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to provide insights into market trends and business opportunities.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key financial and operational metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.

  • Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, capital expenditures, and other strategic initiatives.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including accounting, operations, and sales, to gather and analyze financial information and support cross-functional initiatives.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.

  • Skills:

  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
