Robert Half Bookkeeper in Boca Raton, Florida

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Credit Clerk to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving credit-related inquiries. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications promptly and accurately

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and take appropriate action to collect overdue payments

• Perform account reconciliation tasks and maintain accurate financial records

• Handle tasks related to accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Perform bank reconciliations and month-end close activities

• Use QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for bookkeeping and data entry tasks

• Assist in creating invoices and making posts in the financial system

• Be flexible and ready to take on additional tasks when required. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation, ensuring all business transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

• Experience with accounts payable (AP), managing company expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

• Expertise in accounts receivable (AR), overseeing all incoming payments from clients.

• Familiarity with bank reconciliations, comparing internal financial records against monthly statements from financial institutions.

• Solid background in bookkeeping, maintaining records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions.

• Strong data entry skills, inputting financial transactions into appropriate software.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, using it to organize, analyze and store data.

• Experience with month-end close processes, ensuring all ledgers are closed timely and accurately.

• Knowledge of payroll procedures, processing employee payments and maintaining payroll information.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, using it to manage sales and expenses and keep track of daily transactions.
