As a Payroll Specialist II at Donaldson, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, utilizing your expertise in ADP and Workday applications. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll regulations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Donaldson is on an exciting journey where we are currently implementing Workday Time Tracking and Payroll. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, adhering to compliance standards, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. This position will play a crucial role in the transition from ADP to Workday. Role Responsibilities: Utilize ADP and Workday software to process and manage payroll activities efficiently Stay updated on ADP and Workday system enhancements to execute best practices for payroll processing. Ensure accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly/weekly payroll for all employees. Review and verify Workday timekeeping records for accuracy and compliance with company policies. Stay current with federal, state, and local tax regulations to ensure compliance in payroll processing. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for accurate general ledger and money movement entries. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner. Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll matters with professionalism and confidentiality. Work closely with the HR teams to ensure timely execution of business processes seamless integration between HR and payroll functions. Possess excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our employees. Minimum Qualifications: 4-7 years of Payroll experience working in a Workday/ADP environment In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience Certification in Payroll (FCP/CPP) Project Management experience including leading system implementations Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
