Internships take place at our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN, during a 10-12-week period. Donaldson Company Inc.'s Vehicle Electrification (VE) group is looking for an Engineering Intern to function as technical support within the Applications Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute in a very high-visibility, high-impact area of our business and be part of a dynamic, fast-paced and global engineering team. Role responsibilities: Collaborate with engineering and business teams to help advance venting technology and develop innovative solutions for our team and customers. Coordinate and complete the testing and validation of systems or components. Meet all project deadlines and requirements while clearly documenting information. Communicate and present project findings and progress to multiple different audience groups. Gather and analyze team feedback to improvement to systems and projects. Minimum Qualifications: Current undergraduate enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a bachelor's degree in one of the following: Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Materials Science Engineering Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Preferred Qualifications: Interest in vehicle electrification and advancing sustainable energy. Ability to independently lead projects within a collaborative environment. Experience with technical project management as demonstrated through technical projects, research or engineering internships. Ability to visualize data and demonstrate in key audience presentations. Strong interpersonal skills, high learning agility, analytical and decision-making skills. Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations.
