Civil or Environmental Engineer

Qualifications

MUST HAVES:

Bachelors in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering

2 plus years of experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of Wastewater and/or Stormwater drainage systems

EIT or at least passed their FE Exam

Competency with Microsoft Office products, ArcGIS software and specific hydrologic and hydraulic software programs (ex. EPA SWMM, HECRAS, HY8, TR55)

Description

DUTIES:

Assist in developing designs, drawings, and specifications for stormwater-related projects

Perform basic to high-complexity GIS analyses, hydraulic calculations, hydraulic and hydrology modeling, data analysis, and report writing.

On-site evaluations and/or other fieldwork supporting water resources projects may be required.

The ideal candidate is driven, detail-oriented, highly organized, and has outstanding writing and communications skills for client interactions, preparation and checking of final deliverables, and providing technical guidance and training to other mid-level and junior staff.

Work in a teaming environment on complex urban infrastructure projects

Resolving design and construction problems

Managing budgets and project resources

Developing cost estimates and project schedules

Ensuring projects run smoothly and are completed on time

Participates in contract bidding and construction administration

Willingness to participate in a team-oriented environment as well as function independently

Participate in field investigations

Willing to learn new software

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $42.00/hr.
