Entry Level(no experience in field required) role for a School Aide/Care Assistant located in Blauvelt, NY!

Description:

• Assist in the daily support of persons with intellectual and other developmental disabilities in their home

• Carry out the requirements and participate in the development of each individuals Individual Support Plan

• Assist persons served with daily living skills

• Promote the health and well being of the clients we serve

• Must be qualified to administer medication under Illinois Administrative Rule 116

• Participate in individual and group support sessions

• Participate in agency and family meetings

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary

• Supervise individuals in all of their activities on and off the facility premises

• Provides information to parents and other interested parties while maintaining Avenues standards of confidentiality

• Ensure safe living conditions for all persons served

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-3pm, year round
